Head coach of the Ghana national team, Otto Addo has finally named a 27-man squad for their 2022 FIFA World Cup playoffs against Nigeria.

This comes 24 hours after DAILY POST reported that they were yet to reveal the list of invited players, with four days left.

The Black Stars will host the Super Eagles this Friday, before the reverse fixture in four days time in Abuja.

The winner over the two legs will clinch one of five tickets to represent Africa in Qatar.

In-form Arsenal midfield anchor, Thomas Partey, is the standout name on Addo’s list.
Daniel Amartey, Thomas Partey, Jordan Ayew and Alexander Djiku all made the cut too.
However, captain Andre Ayew and forward Benjamin Tetteh did not make the squad due to their respective suspensions.
