Super Eagles Left-back Zaidu Sanusi put in another impressive performance FC Porto in their UEFA champions league match against Manchester City on Tuesday.

Sanusi played all the minutes as Porto held their own against the former English champions at the Estadio Dragao.

The game ended without a goal but Sanusi’s performance was the most outstanding for Porto, who also booked their place in the round of 16 on the night.

In 90 minutes played, Sanusi had 44 touches of the ball, 77% passing success and made 4 clearances.

He also denied Manchester City opportunity to win the when he cleared a goal bound effort off the line.

The youngster completed the night with 1 blocked shot, 4 tackles made and 2 fouls won for his side.

The 23-year-old former Santa Clara defender also becomes the first Nigerian to qualify for the Champions league Round of 16 since Victor Moses (Chelsea) in 2018 and Mikel Obi (Chelsea) in 2012.
