Super Eagles defender Oluwasemilogo Ajayi returned to the starting eleven as his club West Bromwich Albion forced Brighton and Hove Albion to a 1-1 draw at the Amex on Monday.

Ajayi was an unused substitute in the last game was recalled by Coach Slaven Billic for the trip to Amex and the talented justified his recall with a solid performance.

Ajayi played for 90 minutes, as the Baggies left it late to snatch a point from the game.

West Brom Captain Jake Livermore was at the wrong side of the pitch when he diverted a cross into his own net in the 40 minutes, the visitors rallied back and got the deserved equalizer in the 83rd minute through Karlan Grant.

West Brom are still searching for their first three points of the season after six and they currently sit 17th.
