Super Eagles boss, Gernot Rohr is confident the friendly against Algeria and Tunisia will put his team in proper shape for the upcoming African cup of Nations qualifiers against Sierra Leone and the Benin Republic.
The three-time African champions will play their second warm-up game in four days when locking horns with Carthage Eagles of Tunisia in Austria on Tuesday.
According to Rohr, the game gives the boys the opportunity to get used to how to play against aggressive teams in the future.
He added that both games is good for the team, irrespective of the results.
“The friendlies against Algeria and Tunisia will not give my players a guide on how to handle the West African teams, who are more aggressive in their style of play.
“We are playing against Sierra Leone in Nigeria next month and I believe my players will be in top form to give the team a good fight. The invited players for the friendlies are in high spirit to give their best in the next game against Tunisia,” he said ahead of the meeting with Tunisia.
